Chukotka - Russia

Chukotka is the most northeastern subdivision of the Russian Federation and its half the size of Alaska. Its maybe big in area but very sparsely in population, around the 50 thousand. The Russian Federation use several types of subdivisions, lets explain them.
A: republics are autonomous areas with an large non-Russian population, there are 22 republics.
B: Krai same as an oblast but lower in population, larger in area and mostly found at the edges of this immense country. There are 8 of them.
C: Oblast is the same as an province or an state, there are 46 of them.
D: Autonomous Oblast has more control over its own business, only 1 exist.
E: Autonomous Okrug are large areas with an sparsely ethnic population. okrug are similar to districts, lesser autonomy than en republic but more than an oblast. There are 4 of them.
F: Federal City are equal to an oblast and comprises Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Sevastopol. That meant 3 of them.
Chukotka is in this matter classified as an okrug and it's an cold one, very cold one. The area is very mountainous and the northern parts there is the arctic desert. South of that desolate place we get the windy tundra with its mosses and shrubs growing there. The south of Chukotka the taiga were the pines and spruces are growing. It's also the closest distance to the United States from the Chukchi Peninsula, on an clear day it's possible to see Alaska over the Bering Sea. 52.5% of the population are Russians but the original Chukchi made up for 26.7%. There are the closest relatives to the Native Americans and are nomadic people group which lives from hunt, fishing and herding reindeer. So lets take an look at the flag.

On the left an white triangle that symbolize the ice and snow which Chukotka mostly covered year around. The blue part is the color of the Chukchi, also symbolize the many rivers in the area. The Russian roundel points out its part of Russia. The yellow circle stands for the sun that rise as first here in Russia. Also symbolize the gold and the indigenous people of Chukotka. Good flag but i don't think the Russian flag is needed here.
